About Mandalas
The Sanskrit word Mandala
means “circle”. In religious practices and in psychology it symbolizes any
circular image, which is drawn, painted or woven. Often Mandalas contain a
multiple of four, in the form of a square, star, cross an octagon and other
shapes. As an important symbol in every culture from ancient times to
the present the Mandala has and is used in magic, meditation and religious
practices around the world. As a symbol of eternity, family, serenity and
the power of love we often use a Mandala everyday when rings are exchanged
during a wedding. We also see the Mandela in the Native American Dream
Catcher. Prints of my Mandelas are available on fine art paper in a
variety of sizes.

About Prints
My prints are produced on acid free 100% cotton rag fine art paper using “giclee”,
pronounced zhee-clay which is French and the literal translation is “to spray”
using a 8 color professional printer. This enables the printer to print very
high quality prints using the same archival fine art paper that the artist would
use. The end result is a high quality long lasting print. I still would
recommend professional conservation matting and framing and avoiding exposure to
direct sunlight and florescent lights. My prints are individually produced on
order which means that I don’t have to maintain a large and expensive inventory
of prints and I can pass substantial savings on to my customers. It usually will
take two to four weeks from the time the order is placed to receive your
artwork. I personally inspect and sign all prints prior to shipment and I
provide a “certificate of authenticity” with each print.
